Dr. Tricia Tomsko Nay, Executive Director of the Office of Health Care Quality
The Office of Health Care Quality (OHCQ) is the agency within the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene that monitors the quality of care in Maryland’s 15,043 health care facilities and community-based programs.
The OHCQ’s vision is that all those receiving care in Maryland trust that their health care facility or program is licensed and has met the regulatory standards for the services that they offer.
If you provide services in any of the following areas: Adult Medical Day Care, Ambulatory Care, Assisted Living, Developmental Disabilities, Forensic Labs, Hospitals, Laboratories, Long Term Care Mental Health and Substance Abuse, you should come and hear Dr. Nay’s presentation and ask her questions that are important to your organization. She is making many changes in the OHCQ and you should hear about those changes and her plans for the future.
